ELTC offers you a great tennis coaching programme throughout the year with professional, LTA coaches.
Our coaching programme covers all ages and abilities and we have various courses and individual lessons available for both members and non-members.
Our junior programme runs all year and includes coaching classes, individual lessons, advanced coaching and the ever popular school holiday camps.
So whether you are a complete beginner, a junior who wants tailored coaching or an adult who aspires to play in the teams, we have the programme for you.

Marc Codling
LTA TDA (Level 5) Qualified Coach
Marc has over 20 years of coaching experience, inspiring players of all ages and standards to improve their skills.
He played at junior county level for Dorset and has a PE degree, so has an extensive wealth of knowledge to take your game to the next level.
Marc was LTA Aegon Coach of the year Runner-up in 2010.

Tom Crisp
LTA Level 3 Performance Coach
Tom has been coaching for 7 years and has worked with a wide range of players from under 10 national players to 80 year old club members.
Tom played for Middlesex as a junior and competed in regional level competitions from the age of 10-16.
Tom has great enthusiasm on court and can help you improve your game whatever your level.

Ed Fielding
Ed has been a member at ELTC for many years and is a well known figure at the club.
He has done a lot of coaching of Juniors at ELTC in the past and is a popular and successful coach.

Dates and Pricing
Please find as follows the dates for our group coaching sessions and the prices.
Adult Coaching
Friday Coaching and Coffee Afternoon
This session offers you excellent coaching, followed by the opportunity to socialise with fellow playes. It is open to members and non-members. The session runs from 13.15 - 14.15 every Friday and is followed by coffee or tea in the clubhouse, which is included in the price. It is run on a "turn up and play" basis, so there is no need to book.
£10 Members / £15 non-members
Team Practice
If you are team player, who would like to improve your skills, this is the session for you. On the first Saturday each month, there is a team members practice from 12.30 - 13.30. This session focuses on doubles tactics and match play and provides you with tips and tricks for succeeding in team play.
Members only: £5
The team practice will take place on the following dates. We have avoided Bank holiday weekends to ensure that we can get as many people as possible each time.

Junior Coaching
Junior Coaching - Saturday Morning
The junior coaching takes place on a Saturday morning throughout the year and it is divided into age groups.

Mini Tennis Red (8 years and under). |

Mini Tennis Green and Orange (10 years and under). |

Junior Tennis (11 years plus) for improvers. |

Junior Tennis (11 years plus) for more advanced players. |
Junior: £6 Members and £8 non-members.

ELTC Dress Code
Please note that ELTC has a dress code as follows: Predominately white shirt and tennis shoes. We would appreciate it if both members and non-members would adhere to this rule.
Junior Coaching Notes
Collection procedure - For the safety of your children, please read the following points carefully for children under 14 years of age.
The parent/guardian is responsible for the collection of player(s) under the age of 14 years from the courts at the end of each session and is responsible for naming a primary and secondary contact for collection. If htis information changes, then please inform us with the new contact details.
British Tennis Membership
We will be introducing timed tennis to the junior programme.
It is a new initiative from the LTA to give players their first experience of competing and playing in matches. We need all players on the programme to have a BTM number so we can submit any matches played.
If you don’t have BTM number, then please give your consent by ticking the box at the bottom of the application form and we can get a number processed for you.
