Mix-In
SUMMER PLAY : Sunday 14th March to Saturday 23rd October.
Mix-in tennis takes place on Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holiday afternoons from 3.00pm to 6.00pm.
Tuesday evening Mix-In from 6.00pm
Thursday evening 'Coach and Play' from 7.00pm to 8.30pm
WINTER PLAY :
Mix-in tennis takes place on Saturday afternoons from 1.30pm and on Sunday mornings from 10.15am to 12.45am.
Players must change partners after every set and must draw in anyone waiting to play. Courts may not be used for singles during this time if needed for mix-in play.
Members are required to be 'played in' before playing in the mix-in sessions.
Matches
Club Matches - both Adults and Junior members, League and Friendly, take precedence over normal club play. However, no more than 4 courts may be reserved for such matches on any one day - and not during Mix-in or organised play times.
Details of bookings must be entered on the bookings sheet on the notice board on the clubhouse. Please see the notice boards for details of how to book a court.
Games involving 4 players have priority over singles when all usable courts are in use and members are waiting to play. A singles match in progress at the same time may be completed before the court needs to be vacated.
Mix-in play, club tournaments days and junior tournament days may require the use of all courts.
Please check the Tennis and Social Events Diary and the notice board to avoid disappointment and to join in the activities.
Club tournament matches should not be played during SOCIAL MIX-IN times ie. Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays evening (summertime).
No singles shall be played when two or more members are waiting to play, but a set already begun may be completed.
Grass Courts
Members are asked to take all reasonable care in use of the grass courts, particularly during humid or wet weather.
NO PLAY on grass courts is permitted before 10.30am. The Groundsman, Graham Kimpton, has the Committees authority to decide whether the grass courts are fit for play at any time. When he is unavailable a decision can be made by a member of the Club Committee.
TRAINING SHOES DAMAGE THE TURF and are NOT ALLOWED ON GRASS COURTS.
Booking Courts
Regular court usage is shown at the top of this page.

Court 1 : Juniors have priority on this court at most times except:
Adult or Junior Club Tournament days.
